This coffee was cultivated in the La Coipa district of the province San Ignacio in the Cajamarca Region that shares a border with Ecuador. In this area many small farms (usually about 2 hectares) neighbor eachother and help eachother at harvest time. This Andean tradition is called "minga" and translates to today for me, tomorrow for you. "Flor de Selva" is the name given to this communal producer blend consisting of Caturra, Bourbon, Pache and Catimor variaties.
This coffee is certified organic and fully washed.
